A preliminary examination of the cellphones and computers used by the Tsarnaev brothers has found no indication of an accomplice in the Boston Marathon bombing, according to a U.S. counter-terrorism source briefed on the FBI investigation.
The source stressed that the investigation is ongoing, but bureau officials at this point appear increasingly confident that “nobody else was involved,” said the source.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has told investigators he and his brother acted alone, learned to build the pressure-cooker bombs over the Internet and were motivated by a desire to defend Islam because of "the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan," said the source, who has received multiple briefings on the probe.

Another thing is that all this info is coming third hand - not directly from the FBI. Is it fact or conjecture??
No way will I ever be convinced these two acted alone.
They weren’t bright enough to pull off an elaborate operation like this by themselves.
No wonder Big Sis was willing to admit they knew about this guy's 6-month vacation at a prime terrorist destination - they were planning to roll out this specious lone wolf tale for the nightly news. How comforting to hear that they did it alone and we are all safe now that they've been foiled. /S
It is conceivable that in this country he had no accomplices. That said, something helped radicalize this guy, and those trips abroad recently probably helped him along the way.
