City University of New York Professor Ruth O'Brien complains in an op-ed that "too much force" had been used against Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed by the police. -snip- This said, the mortuary pictures of the older brother of the two are extremely disturbing, raising questions as to whether the Boston Police Department captured him with too much force. I understand the explanation offered by Katharine Q. Seelye, William H. Rashbaum, and Michael Cooper. Yet, it does not ring true. A picture is worth a thousand words that will keep our ears ringing as we recoil from this photo. Images have a way of searing themselves into our memory in a way that cant be undone. We have an emotional memory, not just a rational one that is exemplified by words. While terrorism is about causing fear again an emotion we do have to account for our conduct in these extreme times when adrenaline is running high. At my home, to at least offset this, we turn off all media. I couldnt believe my sons explanation when they got home about one brother running over the other one. So I found a place to read about this, and I recoiled after seeing the picture. Still, we all know that terrorism, like crime, leads if it bleeds with the established media. The established media fixates on the domestic-violence or crime-of-passion aspect of terrorism, and it, too, inculcates more fear in all of us.

I think the brothers used “too much force” in killing and maiming people with bombs at the marathon. Liberals are sick criminal, terrorist lovers.

I love that loser and pansies recoil at pictures. I stood up and clapped when I saw it, made copies and posted it on my wall.
I hate weak-wristed pansies. They have had a big part in the undoing of this great country.

No doubt this professor would be urging calm and to just board the boxcar. Twerps like this never stand and resist.
This is why we should send Ruth O’Brien the next time we need terrorists arrested.
I’ve seen the picture. I wonder if the writer realizes that the huge gash in the guy’s side is where the doctors operated while trying to keep him alive?

Unpopular, but my observation was that once the location of the #2 bomber was known, the police exhibited absolutely no fire discipline.....you could hear their supervisors yell to “cease fie, cease fire” throughout the video clip as the troopers fired full auto against apparently no return fire.....
Reality is often disturbing to the people that live in a make believe worlds.
Liberal scum, like this professor, do this everytime the police use force.
That is why our cities look like sewers full of arrogant criminals.
