Source reveals research included high-value targets inside U.S.
Qasem Soleimani, the head of Irans Quds Forces, ordered reconnaissance and intelligence gathering on various events and public gatherings in the United States years ago, culminating in the bombings at the Boston Marathon one week ago, WND has learned.
According to a source within Irans intelligence services, the Islamic regimes Quds Forces, a special unit of the Revolutionary Guards in charge of extraterritorial operations, have done extensive planning on gatherings, events and high-value targets in the United States for some time, but for two years focused on events such as the Boston Marathon.
The source had earlier provided information that tied the Islamic regime to the Boston attack and pointed to the collaboration of the regimes Quds Forces with the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah and elements of al-Qaida with links to an operational center in South Asia. He said that under Quds Force guidance, Hezbollah recruited sympathizers through collaborators connected to South Asia for terrorist activities in the U.S.
Another source in December told WND that the Quds Forces had drawn up plans for terrorist attacks in the U.S. starting within six months and that an operational team was in the United States to prepare for the attacks. He also said then that suicide bombers and potential terrorists were ready to attack Canada and European countries, including France and England.
The plan was to be automatically launched if America did not accept Irans nuclear program, if sanctions increased or a military confrontation took place. The regime felt it must act because current sanctions, which have already devastated Irans economy, could spark civilian rioting.
Another worry for the regime, the December source said, was that the push to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad would be a big blow to the Islamic regime and...

Yeah....I knew what you were saying...and it was so stupid I had to reply.
Just like I am replying to this one....
I’ve seen some reports recently that Zawahiri and other Al Qaeda leaders are moving to Egypt.
We know who we can thank for that of course.
Iran had nothing to do with it. This was a Saudi operation.
Sue me then, Joe.
You claim to be a conservative, right? I would expect you to have higher standards of behavior all on your own.
Heck, I’d belive them over resident hussein any day.
We need to worry more about our Saudi “friends” than our Iranian enemies. The Iranians once worked with the US in Afghanistan against the same group that murdered both American and Iranian citizens.
Behavior? I’m only challenging your beliefs.
Isn’t just great that anyone can declare himself a “news media”, set up and website, and send his girlfriend trolling forums, advertising and defending it, calling opponents names, and so on. What a great country!
A google search I did pulled up warnings around 2004 of an attack on Boston being planned by Iran and Chinese nationals that were being sought as well as I believe Iranians in connection with it. Could link it here if you can locate it.
ping
Whether the news came from WND or not. In this case, it seems like the article has some teeth.
Just follow the money....
The Canadian p;ot just revealed was by Al-Queda in Iran as the Canadians call it!
You’re just a miserable troll.
Troll Alert!
Thanks for the ping!
Thanks for the ping bitt, interesting, thread has a whole bunch of trolls and site pests. Must be something to it they don’t want us to see.
Then they used their front man Imad Mugniyeh to attack our embassy in Lebanon, then they killed hundreds of French and US military men in their barracks. Then they abducted assorted US citizens and westerners and held them hostage. Then they nabbed our CIA station chief and slowly tortured him to death.
Then they attempted to sink US flagged ships in the Persian Gulf.
In flailing around looking for a way to overcome iraq in the Iran Iraq war they decided to use thousands of Iranian children - to whom they had given plastic keys, telling them they were "keys to heaven" as they tied the kids up in ranks and used them in suicide waves to swarm Iraqi positions because the religious nuts safely sipping tea in Qom and their former pals the communist students had already tortured and murdered so many of the Shah's trained military personnel that children were about the only thing they had left to throw at the enemy.
Then they tried to use speedboats Tamil-Tiger style against US warships, which did not go well for them. Then they attempted to take out a US ship with an airliner.
Then they murdered a bunch of US personnel at Khobar Towers.
Then they and their Hezbollah pals moved into South America to spawn terrorism against US and Israeli interests there.
Then they worked with al Qaeda on blowing up the USS Cole after the attempt to sink the USS The Sullivans failed, and so on.
Then Iran got involved in the Balkans and magically the Egyptian terrorists who had fled there were armed and trained. They reappeared later as the 1993 World Trade Center bombers and the Luxor massacre perps led by the Blind Sheikh.
Then they provided safe passage to Iraq for Zarqawi's al Jihad al Tawhid /Ansar al Islam forces as they fled Afghanistan... the group which later became "al Qaeda in Iraq," a group which incidentally was in more recent times involved in the attack on the US in Benghazi and is now entrenched in Syria.
Apparently they're holding a US citizen at the moment, maybe more than one. And for a while now, Iran's buddy Zawahiri the Egyptian has been free to operate al Qaeda without the annoying spawn of a Yemeni, OBL, in the way, and Zawahiri is a good deal more cunning.
A troll? Really? I’ve been online discussing politics before the internet even existed in the civilian world. Just because I disagree with you’re opinion of an internet news site you’re going to attack me and call me names? What is this kindergarten? I warned them back then this was all going to go to hell and it did the minute they opened the flood gates.
