no, this is what they did to macveigh. he’s a us citizen on us soil. if we lose our constitutional protections in this case, it will set a dangerous precedent. we can’t have justice by lynch mob.

You are right, I forgot he was/is being considered a citizen.

Mods can you edit the title?

I cannot disagree with that. He's a US Citizen. Probably should not be but he is.

I have to agree with you. If you're an American citizen, you need to stick to the Constitution, because it's our "We The People's" only protection against tyranny here. I know everyone wants to get tough on these a-holes, but we have to proceed carefully on how things get done. Once you break new ground, we will never be able to re-take it again.

His citizenship can be stripped first since it appears he lied when he made his oath last September.

I think they need to strip him of his citizenship. He deserves no rights.

I think that would set a precedence that you can have your rights revoked if you lie under oath.

They can’t do that for people that were born here.

It is also a burden to prove someone lied, but i think this case shows it.

Well said. We need to keep our wits about us, and not let our emotions override our reasoning. Above all else, the Constitution must be defended!

Yes, I agree. Unfortunately, he is a U.S. citizen, and as such, should be afforded rights given to us by our Constitution. To do otherwise puts every other citizen in danger.

Agree. We need to stop fudging definitions. E.g., not long after 911 suddenly every heinous crime was “terrorism”. No. Terrorism is an organized conspiracy to cause mass injury without going to war. Now we want every person with a hint of Islam and mass killing to be called a combatant - IOW a soldier. He is not a soldier of a foreign nation or even a conspiratorial organization. He is here and acted independently.

He's had his naturalized citizenship for less than a year. He took an oath to defend this nation. He lied.

List of denaturalized former citizens of the United States

including Nazi war criminals and serious crimes, suspicion of spying for the communists, or association with terrorists

If he was already plotting and training for such activities before he was sworn in, this case seems applicable:

Jean-Baptiste, Lionel (born 1947) circa 2003

Failure to "establish and maintain 'good moral character'"[99] due to conviction as a drug dealer after application for citizenship, but before his naturalization on April 23, 1996.

Also

Goldman, Emma (1869–1940) Anarchist. 1919 Deported on December 21, 1919; landed in Finland on January 17, 1920, and sent from there to the Russian border

If we go the route that he IS a citizen, then he engaged in treason by participating in the acts with a foreign national (his brother) in support of foreign agents (who trained his brother).
