I don’t believe you goober and I do not believe anything our government says about it.
LLS
But, but - The Immigration Reform Bill will fix it!!!! Ya gotta know who is here so the FBI can sift through 14 million names and find out which ones are misspelled and um, um . . well something like that!!!
That brings up an interesting question, will the WON require a passport to travel after he becomes a private citizen?
We don’t know what passport he held..Russian? But he did have a green card with a number on it. Just goes to show us that nothing has changed at the border control since 911. In fact, it has gotten worse, because Islamic country travel and immigration has increased exponentially.
Yeah, wait til they enter your name in obamacare.
Excerpt:
Of course, he was only 18 when he arrived at the small liberal arts college nicknamed Oxy. His freshman roommates were Imad Husain, a Pakistani, whos now a Boston banker, and Paul Carpenter, now a Los Angeles lawyer
Obama had an international circle of friends _ a real eclectic sort of group, says Vinai Thummalapally, who himself came from Hyderabad, India. As a freshman, he quickly became friends with Mohammed Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, two wealthy Pakistanis.
In 1981 Obama transferred from Occidental, arriving at Columbia Sept. 1982. In between, he traveled to Pakistan a trip that enhanced his foreign policy qualifications, he maintained in a private speech at a San Francisco fundraiser. Obama spent about three weeks in Pakistan, traveling with Hamid and staying in Karachi with Chandios family, said Bill Burton, Obamas press secretary. He was clearly shocked by the economic disparity he saw in Pakistan. He couldnt get over the sight of rural peasants bowing to the wealthy landowners they worked for as they passed, says Margot Mifflin, who makes a brief appearance in Obamas memoir. When Obama arrived in New York, he already knew Siddiqi a friend of Chandios and Hamids from Karachi who had visited Los Angeles.
Siddiqi offered the most expansive account of Obama as a young man. We were both very lost. We were both alienated, although he might not put it that way. He arrived disheveled and without a place to stay, said Siddiqi, who at the time worked as a waiter and as a salesman at a boutique In about 1982, Siddiqi and Obama got an apartment at a sixth-floor walk-up on East 94th Street. Siddiqi managed to get the apartment thanks to subterfuge. We didnt have a chance in hell of getting this apartment unless we fabricated the lease application, Siddiqi said.

Very interesting read.
Don’t you have to be an American citizen to get a US passport?
Well, I feel better now.
Huh. How on earth would we ever implement that kind of thing? Wait, what...?
The fact is the Russians told our government the guy had terrorist ties. FBI AFAIK interviewed him and let him stay here. So, if you believe Graham, then the fact his name might have been misspelled has absolutely nothing to do with a terrorist being allowed to stay here. They're trying to pull the old bait-and-switch.
Liberalism!
Thy Name Is PREDICTABLE!!
Later
I have a problem.
Graham spoke to an assistant director of the FBI?
Graham believed that crap?
He is even more stupid than I gave him credit for.
Or he is a liar-—Take your pick.
How many aliases did the 19 ISLAMIC TERRORISTS have???...some had 4 or 5.
I heard on BBC that the reason he went to Russia for those 6 months was to qualify to renew his passport. I don’t know where they got that info from - I am guessing some of the Russian family members must have told that to a reporter.
How conveeeeeeenient !?
thank you church lady
airlines don’t make the call. So what about his passport and valid visa?? Did he pass through an airport immigration and/or customs agent - officers who are known to be quite thorough (at least used to be)?
Even if it were true, it would only explain the way OUT.
On the way back in, the Homeland “Security” folks at immigration would have had to look at his actual passport. They could have scanned the green card. If there were a red flag on it, shouldn’t they have asked where he’d been? Whatever passport he had, it should have had Russian entry and exit stamps.
WTF??
Whenever I travel on business to LONDON they scan my passport, look at the stamps and ask me what I was doing there. Is that scanner connected to ANYTHING??
One more point: what was the NAME of the airline employee who didn’t scan his greencard (they scan my passport when I travel) but DECIDED to type it in and then ACCIDENTALLY misspelled the name??
Thats assuming he ever becomes a private citizen again.
