The hearings just began. Right now Arturo Rodriquez is whitewashing the history of Cesar Chavez, playing the race card and ignoring American citizens who are unemployed.

“Even Mark Levin won't speak out against him personally, which is disappointing.”
__________________________________________________
It was also disappointing that Levin actively promoted Orrin Hatch, instead of a stronger conservative candidate in our last Senatorial election.
I'm frankly getting tired of his unhinged rants when he actively tries pushing RINOs on us.
Fu*k decorum!

Twelve million? The official estimate of illegals hasn’t changed after a decade of this stampede. Probably fifty million.

“Have you read the Senate’s new 844-page immigration bill? That’s fine; nobody has. How about the so-called “Gang of Eight” senators’ 19 page outline of the legislation? It isn’t exactly written in comprehensible English, and it’s brimming with promises clothed in hilariously euphemistic language, ...
“Trouble is, despite promises of of billions of additional dollars, the Gang of Eight plan wouldn’t necessarily secure the border at all. It would simply paper over the problem.”
Ben Boychuk
There it is. McLame & Co. hoping to achieve ‘social justice’ while ignoring (what should be) the entire point: securing our borders.
But you really can’t blame them, I suppose:
They are simply putting forward the bargaining agreement provided to them by the US Chamber of Commerce and labor unions.
So, again, our poor critters must pass the bill in order to find out what is in it.

Perhaps FR should start a movement to freeze all immigration until the unemployment rate drops to 5%.
That might well get the support of the millions of unemployed, especially the minorities.

Just turn off the volume whenever you see Schumer or Leahy's faces.

Side note: While not keyworded, many of the threads discussing the Tsarnaev brothers are addressing the issues of alien residency requirements, whether citizenship can be revoked for criminal behavior, and the role of the FBI and the FISA court in handling some aliens. They are worth a read. HJ

No surprise re: Grijalva. The City of Tucson is an embarrassment to the great State of Arizona. IMHO, of course.

I maxed out my tweets-the stupidest rule of Twitter-but I'm going to try and live-tweet tomorrow's hearings as well.

I think we’re slamming the capitol phones again. I couldn’t get through on any lines, except Isakson’s and his staff “claim” he’s against the bill.

Everyone, please call Senator Cruz. He is likely the only one who can derail this.

And Grassley.
Numbers USA is running ads against Begich now, which makes sense, since he represents a conservative state.
The only reason the DREAM Act didn't pass the Senate was because Dems representing red states, like Kay Hagen, voted against cloture during the lame duck session of Congress.
