It’s an amazing irony that soon after the martial law police lockdown was lifted, a CIVILIAN found the bomber in his backyard.

If Boston had not been locked down, the CIVILIAN would have found the bloody handprint on the tarp many hours earlier.

10,000 police can’t see what 7 million Bostonians can.

Which didn’t stop the mayors, Guv Patrick, and all of the various LEO chieftains from having a self congratulations orgy of a press conference, kissing each others fannies for the cameras. Without an older dude and his boat, and young folks on social media, the cops would have never found the guy.

That is oh so very true. The same argument can indeed be applied to the 2nd Amendment. Not only does it ensure real power resides with the people, not the government, an armed populace of 100's of millions is harder for a foreign country to conquer than an army of a million.
