Two foreign nationals — who are believed to be associates of the alleged Boston Marathon bombers — were arrested Saturday on immigration violations, authorities said.

The men, identified by neighbors as 19-year-olds from Kazakhstan, drove around in a black BMW with the mock license plate, “TERROISTA #1.”

The pair was hauled out of their New Bedford apartment in handcuffs about 3:50 p.m. The raid was carried out by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, a spokesman told the Daily News.

And then there is this interesting piece:

Two Russian speaking men in their early 20s later arrived at the apartment and told reporters they were journalists from the Boston Globe. They then entered the apartment through an unlocked patio door. When asked what they were doing they said: ‘We are friends of theirs. They are talking, they are talking’ and closed the door. Why are these people in our country? Why had no one keyed that car when the license plate first appeared? Why is the safety of American citizens not the first consideration, rather than the last, when it comes to admitting these creatures? Why are we deliberately bringing in people who want to kill us and take over our society? They ruined their own homelands so thoroughly that they decided to leave, so OUR GOVERNMENT lets them come here and get to work on ruining ours. And we are just supposed to take this sitting down?
