And I think whatever visa or status he was on at the time he left the country for SIX MONTHS(!) should have been obviated and he should NOT have been let back in. This is particularly true in the aftermath of 9/11 and Mohammed Atta’s loose in-and-out travel agenda between hither and yon as he executed the “planes operation.”

It seems to me that the US government has learned exactly NOTHING about blocking terrorists since 9/11.
