And another thing I guess the passed all the background checks to obtain the weapons they utilized during the subsequent chase and shoot out? Those cats were not using registered owner firearms and where did they come from?

The older brother had a domestic violence conviction which would in theory prohibit his purchase of even a long gun, but what would prohibit the younger? Give Mass laws...if they had pistols you can assume they were not legally possessed.
