The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.
Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.
More than 1,000 FBI agents were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.
A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.
“They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”

It’s possible they panicked because they were led to believe they would never be found.
So what’s the consensus... a 12-strong terrorist sleeper cell...?

And they were almost right!
I think the cell leaders thought these 2 would be immediately caught and severed all links before the bombing. Phase II was to wait for the police to find them, and go out in a blaze of glory. When the cops never came looking for them (thanks to holding onto the photos of the real perps) they went looking for the cops to get the same result.
Also possible is that they were trying to reach a compatriot but never made it.
In all my years in the field, I have never experienced something like this “JUST HAPPENED”. It had to been planned a long time ago, maybe over a year, And, in my experience, a “CELL” is necessary. What normally happens is that a cell had a meeting, maybe a year before, and an individual or individuals are chosen to do the attack. Then everybody in the “CELL” begin to help the chosen individual or individuals on how to accomplish the attack. There had to have had “PRACTICE” on how to make the attack possible. Some one in the “CELL” are assigned to make the “BOMB”. Another is assigned to produce the “BOMB” materials, etc, etc, etc. What I;m saying is that this is not an act of one or two INDIVIDUALS. They had to have had a lot of help.
These guys didn’t think they would be caught...No doubt they believed the crowds, and the many foreigners who came into Boston for the race, were the perfect cover for them.

Yesterday, Glenn Beck said he had sources to show this was the most or second most important story of the last 50 years.
He threatened the Administration: “Release the information, or I will.” He gave them until Monday.
I see this as partial vindication for Beck.
