Sounds to me like somebody should have worried more about protecting their second amendment rights and less about getting high.
Just want to toss this out there, the guy we just had problems with here in Nevada, the crazy dude who was caught after he was thrown out of the Legislature and arrested traveling in California is now being charged with unlawful possession of a firearm because he is an admitted pot smoker...ie he doesn't have a medical permit.
Dope smokers might want to consider what they're gaining vs what they are losing.
