Shots were fired in the area of the 4/20 marijuana rally being held at Civic Center Park in Denver, KDVR.com reports. Denver police say one person has been shot in the leg and another is down with unknown injuries. Witnesses say they heard three or more shots about 20 minutes after 4:20 p.m. Police swarmed the scene, and crime tape was around the pavilion where the celebration was being held. Aerial footage showed the massive crowd frantically running from the park. The pot celebration Saturday was the first since Colorado and Washington made marijuana legal for recreational use.

When I saw this thread, I had to look. I don’t find it funny that people got hurt, not at all.
But the juxtaposition of a drug that is supposed to make you mell-low with the most vilified weapon in modern US history, the Handgun, just strike me as so at odds that it hits my funny bone.

The second suspect was a black male in a checkered black and white shirt. Police spokesman Sonny Jackson didn't have a description of that suspect's height and weight.

Cops are complaining they couldn’t find witnesses because all ran away. A lot of good it would have done had any stayed. Defense lawyers would have had a ball cross-examining the stoned witness testimony!

There has been many cases of dirty cops saying they busted someone with 10 million of cash and 10 kilos of drugs while there was actually 30 million in cash and 30 kilos of drugs, do you think that during a trial the deal would correct them and get an additonal 10 years in the pokey... NOPE...
