The Arabs will tell you the blond ones came from Europe. of course that's nonsense ~ there were still blond people in North Africa and Yemen when the first Arab wandered out of the Rub al Khalid with a complaint about too much dust and too little water.
There are still blonds throughout the ME, just not as many of them as in Finland, but then again, how many places have that many blonds.
