Innocent until proven guilty and MA doesn’t allow for death penalty but Fed law does. He did not commit a federal crime and this is a dangerous path.
I don't know, he did use what could be deemed a WMD against American Citizens, that is definitely a federal issue.
Something to consider....
Actually he did. It's one that has the death penalty, too. 18 U.S.C. 2332a Murder by the use of a weapon of mass destruction.
If he did not commit a federal crime, what was the FBI doing in Boston?
Who says?
He can be charged with making and attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction and terrorism under laws such as the Anti-terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996
Sorta true. He did not commit 'a' federal crime, he committed several. (Just owning the parts to make a bomb makes you a federal criminal and these clowns made the bombs set them off at an international event and then chucked them at LEOs when they were trying to get away)
But you knew that already and if not you should stop posting til you know what you are talking about.
False, the use and or possession of a weapon of mass destruction is a federal crime. Explosives are the privy of the ATF why do you think they were all over this manhunt. Futhermore the use of a weapon of mass destruction is grounds to be classified under federal law as an enemy combatant regardless of your nationalized citizenship this guy is not a natural born citizen we can strip him of this acquired citizenship and hold him indefinitely in getmo if we wanted too under a whole slew of existing federal laws and and statues
The Patriot Act covers the ‘federal’ crimes aspect if your concerned about the law. Naturally the Gov’t will use this to expand Gov’t.
He certainly did commit a federal crime. this wasn’t simple murder. This was an attack and assault on the United States.
