It was like that in 2001 as well....
All the US media wanted to follow was the response to the carnage and the discussions of (Why).......
In effect the coverage was all opinion journalism looking for a skull full of mush to invade.....(We are at fault) (Bush did it with his snarky rhetoric)
Nothing has changed, except they cannot blame Bush....so they will find others targets of opportunity like those nasty teabaggers,,,,
