It’s flipped to NoBama for 3 reasons.

1) because since 2000 there has been a flood of immigrants from that region of the world who come here without owning a business.

2) The GOP has moved left

3) Islam has become more radical and many of these new immigrants who are poor when they come here vote for the anti-Jew pro-hand-out party.

The Muslims you speak of who voted for Bush in 2000 would have NEVER considered Bin Laden as a true Muslim.

You said 90%, but be that as it may, don't you think 9/11 and our response to it created the dynamics for such a reversal? 9/11 was a stark manifestation of Islamic fundamentalism. We has already had under Clinton thefirst bombing of the WTC, bombings of our embassies in East African and the attack on the USS Cole. OBL had already declared war on the US in his 1996 fatwah.

The difference was that Bush actually responded to these attacks.
