You noticed that too, eh? What’s even worse is that this appears within quotation marks, which means one of two things. Either someone who runs a gun-related business would actually say such an idiotic thing, or the moron from the TV station is completely unaware or uncaring of what quoting is. I’ll bet I know which.
Some of the very worst writing out there is done by TV station people. They can’t write and don’t care, and neither do their bosses, nor their audience.

One of the on air bimbettes said this during the search-
"People in Cambridge are literally frozen inside their homes".
I thought to myself, "are they out of firewood"?
