Its merely a sop to the Democrats. In reality, how many people own one? Its not that I support such a ban - clearly its nonsense. But it is a political sop.

You have to realize that in this benighted state, even Republicans are often anti-gun. I wish we had Wyoming’s gun laws or even Pennsylvania’s, but the reality is we don’t and probably never will, which is why I want to get the hell out of here.

Some of the more onerous things the Dems were proposing were magazine bans like Cuomo’s, the right to enter your home to see that your guns are secure, requiring periodic mental health checks, renewals of firearms purchasers permits periodically, on and on and on.

Like I said, this APPEARS milder than ANYTHING being proposed.

The mental health portion is where the focus needs to be.

The libs/ACLU turned out the mental patients on the public.

I had a chance to buy one before they were banned, but at 3,000 dollars I couldn’t justify buying it.
