They have no escape plan. Have not secreted money, guns and additional disguises in key locations. Have not created false identities, have not covered their internet tracks, have created plausible alibis for their time. They then commit brazen inner-city crimes on the run. They have not prepared a safe house or appear to have muslim confederates ready to take them to ground.
They get involved in a shootout with police yet they do not appear to over-whelming fire power or any kind of protective gear.
I think you have to assume this was a zero-sum game for these two morons. I assume the one on the run is just buying some additional time but I suspect he will not surrender. I think the whole point was to die a martyr. Suicide by cop.
Then they went home. How stupid was that? But the one on the lam is apparently still alive. So perhaps he did have a plan.
No telling what motivated them. Jihadis are all nuts.
