This is probably not the right place to rant about our VA and the Military but not sure how else to get out my anger!
My Father recently passed away. He was a P-38 pilot in WWII. I requested a flag from the VA to use at the Burial service. Yesterday I was told there is a shortage of flags and we will not receive one!!
Our government does not respect the Military either living or dead.
My Father served three years active duty and then remained in the Reserves for more than twenty years. But no flag for his burial!!
Sorry if this is totally inappropriate but had to have it out there.
