Since these guys were also guilty of robbing a 7-11 last night...which led to the chase by the police and resulted in the killing of Suspect #1. Why do news commentators keep asking...Why did they stay in the area?

Well, since they had to rob a 7-11, obviously they don't have any money. Probably no car, or enough for a ticket on a commercial vehicle to get out of there. Suspect#2 still at large, armed, and probably no way to leave the area.. Obviously desperate, dangerous, hungry and broke.

I hope all shopkeepers are well armed - Suspect#2 might be looking for Skittles and Iced Tea.

Thanks that makes a lot of sense.

Still if they had the military training the news claims they had, it seems that they would have planned beyond the initial bombings.

It’s kind of unnerving either way.
