Hot in the summer, cold and very drafty in the winter.
Not a single straight line or square angle in the whole place.
Windows too deep to even see out of.
Seriously creepy dirt root cellar.
Scary attic.
The history of the place alone is unnerving.
Some of the pioneers didn’t make it to the fort during Indian raids so you know folks died badly here.

Wow, the history though. Lucky lucky you! Just the history alone, though comfort is good, it would be awesome to comb the area looking for historical artifacts.
Yes though on second thought, how easy it is for us in this Century to forget the horrors of times past.
