Knowing that sleeper cells exist here, and that there are little training facilities all over the place in addition to thousands upon thousands of mosques this thought should be very high in one’s mind.
All they have to do is simultaneously attack in a dozen or so places around the country and they’ll shut us down.

The scariest scenario I thought of is simultaneously taking over several big universities in auditoriums where classes were taking place, like the Moscow Theater...Middle Eastern types blend in very easily in college towns.
