When you’re about to kick in a door, the unit/squad lines up single-file just before the door gets opened.
It’s called a “stack”. We had to train this way prior to deployment. The idea is to burst through the door rapidly and dominate the space beyond it, overpowering resistance with speed and firepower.
Now that’s how it’s done in the Big Green Suit. You don’t “stack” until you’re about to kick the door. You move tactically, spread out so as to minimize casualties.
These are not soldiers. These are civilian police with tacticool gear and marginal training.
It sounds like the police are sharing too much on the radio.
