FOX is not really 24 hour news, if something breaks in middle of the night, weekend, holiday- they have to get their news crews back in to do the news...irks me that we supposedly have so many news channels and yet none are 24 hours any more.
FNC is the re-run channel from 10:00 pm - 5:00am. Central time, with the exception of Redeye, which is pre-taped. Only slightly better than infomercials.
We need a 24 hour Breaking news channel, automated to do coverage of major local events(by local tv stations) that non-local viewers can watch, kind of online streaming coverage withw/o net bandwidth issues.....
Agreed. Fox, even through their local affiliates, does not have news reporters on the ground. Local field guys and gals tend to be human interest reports rather than news hounds. CNN, despite all of its faults and bias, still provides the best "live" news coverage of all the cable channels. That said, I must now go purge myself.
