The Constitution isn’t suspended just because the police are looking for a terrorist. They cannot lawfully bust your door down in a random search for a suspect.

They cannot lawfully bust your door down in a random search for a suspect.

They can if it is not random. If they have reason to believe the guy is inside and is going to commit a crime they can bust in. It's called exigent circumstances. It has always been legal.
