Perhaps I read too much into the comment Holder and the FBI guy were going to the white house to brief his excellency. Damn, should never assume. They are probably cooling their heals awaiting for the trumpet blasts and the precession led by the rose petal throwers followed by HIS EXCELLENCY on his sedan chair.
