War on our soil is nearly the exact phrase they used to describe the 1996-1997 ? North Hollywood bank robbery and shooting. LAPD officers were outgunned by the two bad guys so they went to the local and well respected, long in business B&B Gun Sales and bought many more weapons and ammo.
Unfortunately the two bad guys were wearing body armor and gave the LAPD a very bad day, until the bad guys were taken down.

I have given up on listening to the live streaming media and instead am just listening to the police on scanners.
There’s too much money in it for the talking heads to drum up interest and keep people listening, thus the replay over and over and over of the same videos, the same sound of gunfire, the same bad guy on the ground, the guessing without verifying, etc.
The one from Brown U was probably s student visa; likely both of them.
The Arab kid who was a suspect at first but then all of a sudden cleared and sent back to Saudi Arabia had an extensive resume’ with AlQuida etc.. - may well have had something to do with it but has “diplomatic immunity”. The FBI probably got the “do not touch’ order from on high.
