Frankly this is what I despise about the news and our thinking we have a right to know everything right away. If this is true, the news is probably out there before the man’s family has had confirmation of who it is and his condition. And every family of every copy @ MIT is living a nightmare.

I have a friend whose dad was killed in an auto accident and her mother found out watching TV news. Very traumatic for the family, as if the injury or death isn’t enough.
