The Senate actually made the decision to abandon the notion of protecting children when they walked away from pursuing Administration gun-running in Fast and Furious. If they won’t act on the Administration illegally selling guns to known criminals and foreign agents why should they act to create new laws to restrict the law-abiding citizen...
Mexican children don’t count, and from Obama’s treatment of Chicago vs. Newtown apparently black children don’t either.
Amen to that!
Hence the push for gun-control in the first place. The weapons were already out of the barn, let’s close the gate.
