Remember, when informed of the boston bombing, Barky was conducting a teleconference about gun control. This was at the top of his agenda and he was applying maximum pressure on those who may vote against him. One of the people on the line I am sure was Dingy Harry as they spoke of how to push it through. Plus they had all the Bloomberg money to help and probably doomberg was on the line with them all set with a cresendo of favorable media coverage to apply maximum pressure. The bombing may have taken some of the wind out of his sails and the info coming forth about the immigration bill did not aid his eminence’s proposal either even with him putting his personal imperator on it. He did get a majority of the votes needed but could not get enough to bring it to the floor and that must have really erked him. Let’s see, Collins, McLame, and two other turncoats voted with him so they must face the wrath of us who wish them be gone.

Sad to say, but I think McClain has outlived his usefullness as a representative for Conservatives.

The same can be said for many of the Conservatives in DC.

It's funny how the Liberals have NO compunction or difficulty in shedding relics of Liberalism... (maybe that is because Liberalism is ITSELF a relic) I don't know, but they turn their backs on conventional politics and conventional politicians instantaneously when and if it becomes expedient for them.

Why do Conservatives have this hide bound attachment to weak, vulnerable and vacillating politicians, JUST because they were ONCE representative of Conservatives.... way back when we only had to run against Liberals who at LEAST made a pretense of loving this country?? Why don't Conservatives step into the 21’st century and admit that their base is NO LONGER dowdy old-school Conservatives.
