Top Dem sees 'train wreck' for health law rollout Or...(Dems running from Obamacare?)

WASHINGTON - A senior Democratic senator who helped write President Barack Obama's health care law stunned administration officials Wednesday, saying openly he thinks it's headed for a "train wreck" because of bumbling implementation.

"I just see a huge train wreck coming down," Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., told Obama's health care chief during a routine budget hearing that suddenly turned tense.

Baucus is the first top Democrat to publicly voice fears about the rollout of the new health care law, designed to bring coverage to some 30 million uninsured people through a mix of government programs and tax credits for private insurance. Polls show that Americans remain confused by the complex law, and even many uninsured people are skeptical they will be helped by benefits that start next year.

A six-term veteran, Baucus expects a tough re-election in 2014. He's still trying to recover from approval ratings that nosedived amid displeasure with the health care law in his home state.

I work in healthcare, and the damage he has already wrought on the industry is substantial.

Many hospitals are losing money hand over fist, laying off people and decreasing accessibility to services. And it is directly related to government actions.

Its the end of this great country if we don’t destroy and bury his liberal agenda. It’s beyond obvious that he and his dog and pony show must go. He is way past dangerous!

Failing because of “bumbling implementation.” What BS. Remaking 1/6 of the US economy with the “best and brightest” from Harvard was bound to be a colossal failure. There’s a reason markets, competition and the invisible hand work so well. Millions of people wage war daily to be the best and lowest cost provider of products and services. Competition hones your skills, makes you acutely aware of costs, and forces you to focus on customer needs. Government does NONE of that...they steal money from us tax slaves and foolishly waste it. There is no way in hell the government can do anything as well as the private sector (defense excluded).
