"an unfortunate event"
Tell that to the grieving parents.

The hospital, in a statement issued Wednesday, said
"The hospital doesn't have a voice; it can't talk.
Some unbelievably, careless SOB who was responsible for this should be identified and then fired.
I also read that the baby was found with a diaper on it. WTH would they diaper a stillborn baby?

The level of crassness the nation has fallen to is apalling.
We are racing headlong, downslope to the lowest common denominator.

I have worked in a hospital laundry, and we found unspeakable things in the linen, the washers and the small drains. By the same token, no laundry sat in the soiled area more than 2 days before processing. This body was missing for 2 weeks?
This is a simple error, not some evil plot. How many times have surgeons left tools inside patients? This is an unfortunate corollary.
