I live in CT. It is fun to call them and see how mad you can make the intern for disagreeing with them.
Yay. Mario jumped over one barrel that the gorilla threw at him. But there are more coming down the stairs. Keep jumping. But gun control is not dead yet. It’s like Disney sequels; it won’t go away.
Please. Let him compare. Then we can point out that the Boston bomber used pressure cookers and homemade explosives, not guns.
He was a substitute PA....I reported him to the Dr. who owns the place.
Uh...Basil. Have you forgotten something?
Uhnngh.... just a little bit further....
Death to all misplaced apostrophes!!
It’ll be back, in some other form; count on it again, someday soon.
“It never dies.......all gun owners should count on a lifelong fight.”
How true. I got my first shotgun for Christmas 1963, a month after JFK was assassinated, and the calls for gun control had already begun, led by Lyndon Johnson and followed later by GCA-68, impelled into law by the King & RFK assassinations. The 1970’s were bad for gun owners & CCW was unknown except for a privileged few. The Reagan years brought considerable relief and IMO changed the momentum away from gun control and toward affirming 2A gun rights.
Now in the fifth year of the Obamanation of Desolation the gungrabbers seem ascendant but communications & social media have leveled the playing field and the NYT no longer dictates social policy or popular attitudes. The bad guys lost yesterday but as the saying goes, “gun control is a tide that is always coming in”.
Indeed, all gun owners should count themselves as involved in a lifetime struggle for their rights.
