“Pressure cookers, aren’t as popular today, as they were 30 years ago, and I would suggest it would be difficult to buy one.”

Huh? They can be purchased in any big store and most hardware stores. The local hardware near me even carries parts ( gaskets, blow-out plugs) for most brands and sizes.

Pressure cookers are about as rare as coleman lanterns or canning jars, ie not at all.

Didn’t you know the definition of ‘not as popular today’ is ‘I’ don’t have one. As for the difficulty in buying one, money and WalMart equals pressure cooker.

True. I even have one that works in a microwave.
