The FBI has begun to send pictures and other data from the crime-scene investigation of the Boston Marathon bombing to law-enforcement agencies around the country, including an image of a shredded black backpack in which one of the devices may have been hidden. Reuters and the Associated Press managed to get copies of the unclassified bulletin and published a few of the images late in the evening, as did ABC:
that the bomb inside the backpack was an “improvised explosive device (IED)” made out of a common pressure cooker. ABC News had previously reported that law enforcement recovered mangled parts of a pressure cooker bomb that included wires, shrapnel and a circuit board.
The advisory said there was “insufficient evidence” to determine if the second explosive, which was also hidden in a backpack less than a block away, was made from a pressure cooker as well.
Authorities have not yet determined the fusing system for the devices or what exactly set them off, the advisory said. The blasts erupted at approximately 2:50 p.m. EST near the marathon’s finish line Monday afternoon killing three people — including an 8-year-old boy — and injuring more than 170 others. Authorities have no suspects in the case and no group, domestic or international, has taken responsibility for the attack.
I find that pretty curious, actually. Normally, terrorist groups use the media frenzy as a platform for their extremist agendas. Obviously the media interest won’t fade away completely in the next couple of days, but the arc of media coverage will begin to wane significantly as normal news coverage returns. Why wait to make the agenda for the attack known rather than take advantage of the short-lived terror it caused?

All is not as it seems on this bombing. It is a coordinated attack and I believe the administration knew something was brewing.
Also, I think they kept us in the dark on purpose, exposing innocents to be hurt, maimed or die.
Ok, I’ll give you fewer when it comes down to a specific brand and model number. Granted criminals can be dumb and make mistakes, one would think they’d know these days not to buy any stuff from their neighborhood store.

Read somewhere we are looking at a 6 liter container. Saw that information yesterday regarding liter container. Mistake maybe on liters and was quarts as far as device. Near equal according to conversion chart 1.1 quart = 1 liter, unless am wrong.
Little off topic .. am reading here at FR mail service personnel has been wearing gloves in Texas and perhaps other parts of country since last Friday or Saturday.
These are a few shots in a war. I think that the Boston Bombs, American shutting all their flights down for a day, the Ricin letters, and now packages at the Senate Building and another near the White House prove that this operation is still happening. We are all mushrooms to this administration. Being kept in the dark and having crap heaped upon us.

NOT off topic. That is important information. It proves the Post Office was tipped off about the Ricin, just as law enforcement was seen with bomb sniffing dogs prior to the Boston bombing. They know something is up.
Why weren't civilians warned?

The evidence pictures perfectly match the Fagor Duo 6L. This model sells for under $100. It is certainly not the least expensive, but I'd place it at start of the high end.
The UL certification etching on the base indicate current production. A two years old example (used in classes) has no certification, while one current production example does. It appears FAGOR just went through a running change and added the markings to a previously imported model during continuous production. Another manufacturer, Fissler, spent over a year getting certification on a model before it could be imported. I'll take a stab that the CPSC was looking for something to do and decided to hit the pressure cooker arena. A few years ago it was turkey fryers.

People of Boston and the country should be demanding answers. Enough BS from this administration. Homeland Secuurity, the intelligence community and their leader should be doing the job they’re getting paid to do.
Seems like the FBI could be able to determine the location of the bomb. Then it seems that they could scour photo’s and videos until that bag/package appears in the frame. Then find who placed it. It’d be nice if the FBI pointed out where the bomb was placed and detonated.
Possibly. I’ve always assumed that the perpetrator(s) probably went to last year’s marathon...to see how everything was set up, etc. He may have noted what backpack would have ‘fit in’ the best.
