Long line to get a service window and told “we haven’t got any stamps, try again next week.”Things like that happen. I went to my local grocery store last week and they didn't have the Aunt Jemima blueberry waffles I was looking for.

I think its a little bit different. A better analagy would be going to Baskin Robins and discovering they ran out of ice cream...which doesn’t happen.
Seriously - a post office shouldn’t run out of stamps.
