Question I have is this:
Was a mistake made in releasing that Saudi national?

Special Agent DesLauriers is not inspiring a great deal of confidence that they will get their man. Elliot Ness he is not.

I call BS, they already know who but would be too embarrassing to the current political faction.
So they are hoping to get enough out of the blue accusations to pin the blame on a certain other political party.
In this current age of tech CSI and intel gathering they know already.
Its all just a stalling tactic.

I would suspect that little was gained from the search of the house.
I would add two things...first, two bags were dropped. Some guy walking around with two bags...would have been noticed by folks and already committed by the cops. So I don’t think we are talking about one individual doing the whole thing, more likely to be two guys....each dropping one bag.
Second, they didn’t want massive destruction of buildings (like our Oklahoma City situation). They wanted it to be a personal thing....with people hurt as much as possible. It wasn’t intended to be a TV magnet for gapping holes in a building or a bridge knocked down. They wanted people hurt in a bad way. I’m more likely to think this is a guy with a friend...who both have a pay-back situation in mind.

So I dont think we are talking about one individual doing the whole thing, more likely to be two guys....each dropping one bag. Have you been to a major race? It's not at all unusual to carry four or five bags at once. One friend grabs the stuff for a group of runners and takes it to the finish line. Your idea sounds nice, but it does not work at a marathon.

"...Importantly, the person who did this is someones friend, neighbor, coworker or relative. We are asking anyone who may have heard someone speak about the marathon, or the date of April 15, in any way that indicated that he or she may have targeted this event to call us... Pathetic. Just pathetic.
Oh, this case will get solved, alright. The pressure is going to increase on this incompetent, goat rodeo of an administration until they pluck someone off the street and conjure up evidence until they have a suspect.

With all that video surveillance, all those cops and all the pre- and post-bombing photos taken... and THIS is where they are with the investigation?
Good God.

In a case like this, I would think they are dealing with the exact opposite problem than what they seem to be indicating: They have too much information and too many leads. With all the camera footage, CCTV cameras in the area, and forensic evidence at the scene, it seems to me that going through what they already have is the biggest challenge.

It’s unlikely much would be found, even if they did it. The terrorists come into the country with a specific purpose, live a disposable life, and disappear.
It would be far more remarkable if they found any signs of permanent intent, like a library book or tv guide.

All I hear on the radio is they are looking for “some-ONE”. I believe there is more than ONE person involved in PLACING these IEDs in multiple places. Too large and heavy for one person to place alone....would need a hand truck!
A six liter/quart pressure cooker is large, load it with ball bearings, nails, batteries and explosives and you have a heavy item. The Muslim terrorists have been exploding these anti-personnel/human bombs is Israel for years... as well as in Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Google “ball bearing bombs” to get a sense of how many Israelis have been murdered.
I wonder why the MSMerde does not mention the wholesale use of such murderous weapons in their broadcasts and newsprint.
Yes, I know why.
Levin was really rolling last night.

Was a mistake made in releasing that Saudi national? Authorities searched his residence, removing bags of undisclosed items. One would think that if the contents had been incriminating, the Saudi "person of interest" would not have been released. My question is: was the Saudi the only person who suffered burned hands in the bombing(s)?

Someone should direct this idiot FBI guy to Walid Shoebat’s website. There were many Saudi’e there. This FBI guy would even have pics.
Look, they know who did this, but the truth makes Dear Leader look bad, so they are acting clueless.

Did the US go after Saudi Arabia after 9/11 since 15 of the 19 Muslim terrorists came from that country? Nope!
