So far, not one of those people who had legs blown off has had the decency to comment on how traumatic the day was for the poor Sandy Hook victims.
/s, of course.

Let us ask them to dictate what laws we need to enact. “victim rules”

This idea of traveling around like a celebrity because their children got murdered kind of gets to me.Reminds me of the 'Jersey Girls'.

The Sandy Hook Traveling Actors will not stop until the Gun Loving Hillbillies are disarmed. They will forever be on the payroll unless their handlers decide to let them go....just remember no one talks about fight club!

I’m glad to hear someone else feels this way.
I’m not a Neal Boortz fan, but he was right when he talked about the wussification of America. It’s all the rage now to wallow in your grief as publicly as possible. And people love to participate with endless candlelight vigils and marches and whatever else.
I don’t know, maybe I’m becoming hard and cynical...I hope not. I don’t mean to detract from any person’s tragic loss, and I do feel sympathy. But the in-your-face public garment-rending gets old.

Its all the rage now to wallow in your grief as publicly as possible. And people love to participate with endless candlelight vigils and marches and whatever else. It's a valid point.

If I had a nickel for every 'vigil' held in New England over the past few years; I'd have enough money to get the hell out of here. Flags at half-mast again today...ye gaaaaaads. Read the frickin' flag code...and what makes these people more special than the ones whacked in Chicago recently? Dead is dead..doesn't matter how you got there.

And once again, the perpetrator was NOT an honest gun owner.
To: who knows what evil?
We should just lower all flags to half mast forever....mourning for America.

All it takes is a feel-good whim to lower the flag to half-mast these days. If you’re against it, you’re just a meanie!
I saw on my local news that the University of Virginia wing where so many kids were killed was turned into a “Peace Studies” area. So I feel better about that. /s
Sheesh, if you want to make good use of the space, turn it into a firing range and teach them how to shoot.

When I posted that I truly expected to get flamed.but it seems a lot of us are tired of the public displays put on by people in mourning.
I feel some dignity is required, cry on your own,but show the public that you have dignity and the person who died deserves this.

We should just lower all flags to half mast forever....mourning for America. Now there's a good idea...there are also a few upside-down flags out there.

Put me into the meanie category, too, I guess.
At least here in Lynchburg, VA, there is one tiny oasis of common sense.....Liberty University decided to allow students to carry concealed weapons. I guarantee you that’s one campus that won’t get shot up by a lunatic. Or at least it will be a very short-lived episode.

Common sense at Liberty...good to see.
Just heard on the news that there will be TWO vigils for Boston in Red Hampshire this evening...sponsored by the Unitarian Church, natch...
