Interesting that they had all left the area well prior to the bombs exploding, but are now traumatised again... See my post above, about the times.
I agree with Mamzelle. Weird ...
To: BlackVeil
I know this is not politically correct, but if they stopped acting like they were “rock stars” perhaps they would not be open to more pain.

Newtown, Bean Town, NO town is “safe.”
Life is not “safe” and government cannot make anyone “safe.”
Hope and pray that’s the message learned.

Obama’s traveling circus (with sadness to those families who lost children and are NOT being used.)

yes, they should have been home. Wallowing in grief. In fact, they should wear black and not be seen in public for the next year.
To: Vermont Lt
Indeed. I'm with you.
Emotionally overwrought, I'm sure, and anxious to grasp on to anything that will explain away the pain. And I'm thinking there may well be some serious money in there, somewhere...

I guess these are not the same ones flying around with Obama.

Well, the circus they’re allowed themselves to join is in rotten taste as well as being downright creepy.

better that than acting like a tool/shill for the treasonous domestic enemy gun grabbers... extending their 15minutes into professional victim hood isn't appealing

“Other runners poured in after him, and much of the field still had to finish when then bomb went off at 2.50. “
The race started at 10:00-——I had 2 kids than ran it in about three hours(not this year)
The winners came in just after noontime so the bomb was several hours later.

Victims. We’re nothing but a nation of victims, always looking for a good cry.

You bet they’re traumatized. Now they will have to add high capacity pressure cookers to their list of banned weapons. Pressure cookers will have to be limited to 2 quarts or less — there go those family dinners.
To: Mears
My apologies, I seem to have misread the news report. I was relying upon this, but it would appear that this was the time run, not the time of arrival.
Micah Kogo of Kenya was second in 2:10:27 with Gebregziabher Gebremariam of Ethiopia third in 2:10:28. Wesley Korir, last years winner, was third in 2:12:30. Jason Hartmann of the U.S. was fourth in 2:12:12.
To: BlackVeil
No apology necessary-—it can be confusing.

At the finish at bomb time, it displayed 4:05 and that is about 9 1/2 minutes per mile pace.
To: truth_seeker
Yes,they really slow down.
Most of the official runners have qualified so would probably never be that slow.

I know its wrong, but I find the medias desperate desire to keep Sandy Hook - and their gun control agenda - in the headlines at all costs hysterical. Just like Katrina.
