So why exactly, if it's so obvious what BO meant, can't everyone just quote the actual paragraph word for word? Why does what is actually written have to be altered if they say the same thing? Conservatives supposedly pride themselves on being consistent and not hypocritical yet here we are altering written word.

Unquestionably, you are adamantly clinging to a patently false reading of the Obama quote when the clear, simple and true reading has been presented to you over and over again by many FReepers.
