"That is total BS! Anyone can express an opinion outside the court room."

100% Correct

"The police acted stupidly"

Paraphrased; If I had a son, he would look like Treyvon.

Too bad Ed Henry didn't have the balls to counter with the last one. What I would have paid to have seen it.

Your examples are spot-on, but your conclusion:
100% Correct
is incorrect. The POTUS is too important to be blabbing like that. In the same way that a potential juror who was on record before trial about the merits of the case would be disqualified from jury service on that case. A juror is too important to be committed to a particular result before the evidence is in. Mr. Obama has the authority to fire the Attorney General; he has no business blabbing about active criminal proceedings.

In the same way, a POTUS has no business trying to beat the rap as a defendant in a civil case. The fact that Mr. Clinton did so - and lied in the process - is obviously to his discredit. And would have disqualified any Republican from remaining in office. The fact that Mr. Obama does mouth off about ongoing court cases - when it suits his convenience - is to his discredit, not a proof that he should be doing it.
