If someone wants to commemorate an event, they get the date right.

From a terrorist standpoint, there is no shortage of 'soft' targets, but it would be likely that a politically-motivated event-commemorating attack would attack an agency or specific people involved in the event commemorated.

I think there is a lot of misinformation out there done to confound the public and the enemy. I think one should listen to common sense. Of course, a twenty year old, whether an enemy or a US kid, may not be endowed with sufficient common sense to make an effective bomb.

I would not be surprised. You’ll never hear the media bring it up.

Part of me would love to see a video released tomorrow by the perosn behind it stating this as the reason and explicitly blaming Obama and his drone policy and leaving no doubt whatsoever that Obama is directly responsible.

Would be very interesting to see how the media responds.

Pan Am 103 was a direct retaliation for Reagan’s attack on Ghadaffi.

Reagan also cut and ran from Beirut, an event explcitly mentioned by Bin Laden and others as motivation for future terror attacks, including 9/11.
