I dunno. I am not an expert at scanner stuff at all.. A code black at hospital..hmmm. God be with these people.
We got a scanner 25 years ago when my cousin (they owned the next ranch over) was in the police academy. We have had it on 24/7 ever since. I knew all the dispatchers by voice. LOL. I never realized how normal it was until after I moved away and was home for a week and realized that the beeps, static, sirens and chatter was very comforting and the ‘sounds of home’.
