Up to now “Containment” worked...despite the frustrations. But things have changed for China and S. Korea.....both economy's growing...not to mention technology isn't going to let the people there stay in the dark as before...they are realizing the lie they have lived under the Kim's. Therefore it would be better that China and the S. Koreans work at replacing Kim....then to wait until the people actually rise up and flood all the borders.
Some have said there's enough N.Koreans in the know now to make such a transition...but it still needs to be done on the “hush” while things are set in place.
Who really knows how things will work out...but the “Global World” is not going to want to deal with any rogue type nations....as we have seen occurring these past few years. One by one the leaders are being brought down. I think possible it's now Kim's turn...maybe not..but we'll see in time.
An example would be..have you noted they always make sure Un has an ashtray nearby? Even in the field pictures with Military, anything which resembles a desk will have one right there.
Also you can tell allot about any modernization....generally the phones are old style....very old in some instances....and the furniture is outdated. Also the military always have little notepads in hands to give the impression what Un might say should be noted.
My point is even their ability to “stage” a good photo is sooo lacking...they aren't very smart about it.

Well they have been dealing with for 60 years and I don't see actions that indicate that China has had enough. In fact it sounds like the Chinese are using this to get extractions from Kerry on missile defense. These people don't think like us so it's hard to understand why either NK or China do what they do. :-)

Yes, I heard that as well...and may be part of the bargaining going on now for all parties involved because all want something for what they might give in this ordeal. One thing we do know ....the backdoor dealings are heavty this time around.
Hey come on... when we feed their staving suffering citizens, the thugs who run these 3rd world hellholes can funnel extra money to into their weapons programs.

I don't see any photos on line of Kim actually showing his face public today.....just TV re-runs etc. but no live appearance. Have you seen any?
Two weeks now since he's been seen...I find this extraordinary and very interesting......I suspect we'll hear a lot of excuses why he's not being seen in public now.....very interesting though.....

Interesting...why does he look so tall???? He towers over all the military there.
Now the question is, since this was shown on TV and still not the traditional personal appearance made in the Square....are these Military men escorting Kim, or Is Kim under Guard?
The building they are in is the Crypt where his father and grandfather are depicted, but they are wax figures.
