This Week up first for me. Jonathan Karl fills in for George.

Rubio - says he’s not the “key” to getting the bill passed. We need to read the bill still. Jonathan Karl says this bill provides for legal status 6 months after it becomes law and a path to citizenship. LOL, Rubio says no,no,no.....it’s an “opportunity” to get access to blah,blah,blah.

Rubio respnds to Cruz blasting him. Says we are going to get the toughest enforcement procedures possible.

Karl asks a question for Sessions “is this bill enforcement first or legalization first.” Rubio - well, yeah, but ...wants to freeze the process in place.

This Week, Karl asks Rubio about gun bill. Why don’t you want background checks on all sales? Rubio says current laws aren’t being enforced and criminals don’t obey laws now.

Thinks people with CC should be able to cross state lines.

Karl asks about JZ cuba trip. Says Che guvarez(sp?), a hero of JZ’s, was a racist, etc. Travel policies need to be reviewed. These are tourist trips.

Rubio on Fox is spinning his plan, which is really McCain-Kennedy in new bottles. Like McCain, he denies his plan is not amnesty. Yet, he gives the lawbreakers the object of their crime, i.e., to stay and work here.

He is laying out a plan that would provide "temporary" legal status, prevent illegals from receiving any government benefits, and they must show they have a job. It is nonsense.

The first question is why we must hold enforcement and border security hostage to legalizing the status of the illegals.

The idea that we can prevent the lawbreakers from receiving any federal benefits is just impossible. Their US born children will automatically be entitled to all the benefits of a US citizen. We have 300,000 to 400,000 anchor babies a year born to illegals.

Rubio is talking about requiring the illegals to have a job. How do you enforce that? We have 7 million illegals holding jobs now, but many also don't have jobs. How can you justify giving millions of illegal aliens work permits while 23 million Americans are looking for fulltime employment?

How can you exclude illegals from Obamacare? How will they receive medical care? Most of them are at the bottom of the economic ladder and can't afford health insurance, which will be mandatory. They will need to be placed on Medicaid or receive subsidies from Obamacare to buy health insurance. Or will they be allowed to continue to use our ERs as health clinics?

Will these lawbreakers be able to bring in their families in their so-called temporary status? Can anyone imagine that family reunification won't be allowed?

Rubio is a snake oil salesman and the devil is in the details. Once this 1500 page monstrosity becomes public, it will be torn apart.

Fox and Murdoch are big amnesty supporters. Chris Wallace failed to ask Rubio about the process. Will extensive hearings be held in the Senate or will it be rammed thru the committee after one week of hearings as vowed by Leahy?

It was either Hannity or Levin that played a ChuckU clip the other day stating that amnesty was first and border security which is now out of control comes later. In rat- chat that means "never" while they are in office. This bill,if passed, probably legalizes 20-40 million illegals or more and assures dem dominance for the foreseeable future until even they catch on.

All this is due to the fact that our side does not have the guts to push a platform of treating all Americans the same and all non Americans the same.Our side has no guts.
