“Still no facts.”
Just because you’re uncomfortable with what happened, you can’t describe the systematic invasion, subjugation and annexation of continental Africa by European countries as anything other than factual.
Whether it was good or bad or they’re better off or not is another question... but the sequence of events, the system of government, and the quasi-slave status of the subjugated people, enshrined in local courts with foreign judges and at sword and gunpoint are not points on which informed people disagree.
Are you suggesting, for example, that locals were permitted to own land in their own countries, such as South Africa? If so, you’re wrong.
In other words, everyone on this thread agrees what the “facts” were. What they mean is open to debate.
The facts remain that the Afrikaners built South Africa, therefore it is (was) their country. They made several big mistakes, they didn’t have control of their borders and for becoming dependent on Bantu tribes to provide cheap labor.
The Afrikaners have been in SA as long as Europeans have been in North America.
Referring to them as “foreigners” is ridiculous.
