Few South Africans have the moral stature of retired archbishop Desmond Tutu, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate who campaigned against apartheid and now laments the crime and inequality that plague the nation two decades after it cast off racist white rule.
"We can't pretend we have remained at the same heights and that's why I say please, for goodness' sake, recover the spirit that made us great," Tutu said. "Very simply, we are aware we've become one of the most violent societies. It's not what we were, even under apartheid."

We need to stop talking in terms of race....it goes for South Africa, and it goes for this country as well.
It is about culture....One cannot choose their race, but they ultimately choose which culture to belong to....and we should be able to state that certain cultures are inferior to others.

Agreed. Culture is what we should talk about. However, we can’t close our eyes and wish problems away. The situation for most blacks South Africa is much worse now than what is was under Apartheid. The same goes for just about every African state that was formerly a colonial possession. Acknowledging this is the first step to improving the situation.
Black Folks in the USA will never recover from Obama!!! Biggest mistake they ever made. South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa should have told them what was coming from a man with little leadership abilities!!! For Black folks in America, the killings in Chicago, Detroit, Gary, Cleveland, Los Angeles, etc. go unabated and growing with Blacks slaughtering Blacks. Obama has given them zero guidance and leadership, they are worse off then they ever were. See what a closed mind, with no options lead to. Sad!!!
