We’re Keeping Them Honest tonight with a report on an abortion doctor on trial in Philadelphia on eight counts of murder. That’s for the deaths of seven babies and one 41-year-old woman seeking an abortion, who allegedly died after receiving too much anesthesia.
Dr. Kermit Gosnell, 72, is accused of performing illegal abortions past the 24-week limit allowed by law. According to the grand jury report, Gosnell “regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy – and then murdered these newborns.”
In January 2011, shortly after Gosnell was charged, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams told CNN, "It was a house of horrors beyond any type of definition or explanation I can humbly try to give.”
Keeping Them Honest, the question is how did these alleged practices go on with no one stopping it? Tonight you’ll see how the grand jury laid out several oversight failures over two decades.

Good reporting by Cooper. And very thorough. I was surprised and pleased he did it. Jeffrey toobin not so much. I don’t like CNN generally but I think Cooper has shown some core values on occasion and so it was tonight.
Good to see Cooper report on the facts..am shocked that CNN actually reported on it..maybe Cooper has a conscience and can see what happened was absolutely deplorable
He definitely appeared horrified by the grand jury revelations and the lack of actions by health authorities.
Actually Jake Tapper had the Gosnell trial on his show earlier in the day....so he beat AC by a few hrs

what this animal has done, is exactly what obama refused to vote against while pretending to be and IL senator.

Cooper is the, ahem, reporter that that used the term ‘tea bagger’ to describe Tea Party participants. I had never heard the term or the practice before.
Still I’m glad that CNN is covering this horrid criminal.
Yes I’m aware of Cooper’s stupid moments. There are many. However I’d put him near the top of the liberal heap. Faint praise but there it is.
